    The standoff ended quickly in the 7800 block of E. Collingham Drive after officers responded and saw the armed suspect inside an apartment.
    The suspect surrendered without further incident. There were no hostages and the gun was recovered by police.

    GREENBELT, Md. (AP) — A Virginia National Guard sergeant is asking a federal judge to postpone his trial on a charge he stole World War II-era dog tags from the National Archives and Records Administration in Maryland.
    The judge didn’t immediately rule on Friday’s request by an attorney for Robert Rumsby, of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
    Rumsby is charged with theft of public records. His trial is scheduled to start Wednesday in Maryland.

    Webb retired as a Raven on Saturday. The nine-year veteran played his entire career in Baltimore.

    ROCKVILLE, Md. (WJZ) — Montgomery County Police have shut down a Rockville massage parlor they say was running a prostitution ring.
    Emily Zhang Lawrence, the owner of Rose’s Spa, is charged with human trafficking and prostitution.
    In a months-long investigation, police say 18 men admitted to paying for sex acts during their visits to the parlor.
