    WASHINGTON (WJZ) — The FBI has sent investigators to the Dominican Republic to help local authorities investigate the deaths of American tourists.
    Nine Americans have died in the Dominican Republic in the past year.
    Officials in the Dominican Republic said the deaths have resulted from natural causes and are isolated incidents.

  • One Person Transported After Being Exposed To Chemical Element At APG

    ABERDEEN, MD (WJZ)– Officials at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center say one person was transported to the hospital after being exposed to a chemical element at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
    The person was decontaminated at the base before being transported to the hospital were they were decontaminated again and are currently listed in stable condition.

    FREDERICK, Md. (WJZ) — Frederick Police made three arrests for a shots fired incident on Thursday evening.
    The Frederick Police Department received a call for reported shots fired in the 1400 block of Taney Avenue.
