• 12 Taken To Hospital After Prison Transport Van Accident In Davidsonville

    DAVIDSONVILLE, MD. (WJZ) — A prison transport was interrupted Thursday evening after a single vehicle accident involving the transport van for a federal contractor at 5 p.m.
    All 12 passengers are being taken to an area hospital in the same vehicle involved in the accident.
    Nine prisoners are going to be checked out but the injuries are described as minor- if any at all.

    ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (CBS Local) — A Florida man was arrested Monday evening when he refused to leave a hotel after crashing a wedding, authorities said.
    Mark Alan Saunderson, 37, interrupted a reception at the Grand Plaza Hotel in St. Pete Beach by cutting in on the bride and groom’s first dance, according to an affidavit.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 41-year-old man was shot and killed Thursday morning in northeast Baltimore.
    Baltimore city police officers responded to the 4200 block of Nicholas Avenue for a report of a shooting around 10:13 a.m.
    There they found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
    He was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
