• No Injuries In Harford County School Bus Accident

    HARFORD COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) — A school bus accident was reported in Harford County Thursday afternoon.
    Officials were called around 3:59 p.m. for an accident involving a school bus and SUV in the 3100 block of Grier Nursery Road.
    No injuries were reported.
    Students were released to their parents at the scene of the accident.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 68-year-old man died of injuries from a kitchen fire in a Lansdowne apartment building, police said.
    William Melvin Riggins, of the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle, died on May 11, a day after a small accidental grease fire.
    The victim was taken to St. Agnes Hospital with minor smoke inhalation on May 10, and then later transferred to a local hospice facility for treatment of complications from the smoke inhalation and a preexisting illness.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Agents with the Baltimore Inspector General’s Office were conducting investigations at Department of Public Works trash yards Thursday morning.
    Chopper 13 was over the scene of one of the investigations, where you could see agents in marked jackets taking items from within the building.
