    ABERDEEN, Md. (WJZ) — Aberdeen police are looking for a suspect behind a home invasion Saturday.
    Police said 29-year-old Kennis Lambert forced his way into a home to settle a debt Saturday afternoon.
    At one point, police said Lambert chased down and punched a victim.
    Lambert stole property from one victim and then took off in a blue SUV being driven by a man only known as “Steve”.

    The University of Alicante in Spain said the Chesapeake’s native blue crab has invaded and swiftly taken over the ecosystem of the Ebro Delta on Spain’s Mediterranean Coast.

    NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. (CBS Local) — A Pennsylvania man assaulted an employee after he became upset with the way his groceries were being bagged, authorities said.
    Bradley A. Bower, 55, was in the checkout line at a Giant Food Store in New Cumberland Feb. 2 when he became upset. Bower became angry when a cashier put canned goods in the same grocery bag as chips, smashing the chips, according to police.

    ROCKVILLE, Md. (WJZ) — A crash involving several cars left a U.S. Postal truck crumpled on its side in Rockville on Monday.
    The crash happened around 5 p.m. Tuesday night along Route 355.
    The force of the crash caused the postal truck to flip over and destroyed the front end of another car.
    Two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

    ANNAPOLIS (WJZ) — Maryland House Speaker Michael Busch brought new light to his announcement Monday that he has developed pneumonia, causing him to miss legislative sessions last week.

    ESSEX, Md. (WJZ) — Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting in the 1300 block of Sugarwood Circle after a victim responded to MedStar Franklin Square Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.

    WATERLOO, Md. (WJZ) — State police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed one man late Tuesday morning in Howard County.
    At around 11:50 a.m., troopers responded to a vehicle crash on westbound I-70 in the area east of Marriottsville Road.

    GREENBELT, Md. (WJZ) — A Chevy Chase man who secretly videotaped children in his home is sentenced to 20 years in federal prison Tuesday.
    Jonathan Mark Oldale, 55, of Chevy Chase, Md., was sentenced to 20 years, followed by a lifetime supervised release, on charges of production and possession of child pornography.

    SHADY SIDE, Md. (WJZ) — A fire caused $10,000 in damage to a Shady Side cottage Monday afternoon.
    Firefighters responded to a 911 call from a neighbor at around 2:50 p.m. reporting the back of the home was on fire.
    A team of 35 firefighters quickly extinguished an exterior fire on the rear of the home that had extended to the attic.

  • Police Search For 3 Suspects In Crofton CVS Robbery

    CROFTON, MD. (WJZ) — Police are investigating an armed robbery at a CVS in Crofton early Tuesday morning.
    Officers responded at around 3 a.m. to the CVS located at 2003 Davidsonville Road in Crofton.
    A man entered the business with two other men, displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the register.
    The clerk complied and the suspects left the store. Officers searched the area but weren’t able to find the suspects.
