    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– State officials have reported 241 crashes across the state, 167 disabled or unattended vehicles, and have answered 799 calls for service from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    “Once that snow picked up around 8:30, 9 o’clock, we saw an uptick in activity in Maryland roads,” Ron Snyder, a spokesman for the Maryland State Police, said.
    Between 6am and 9pm today, @mdsp responded to 241 crashes and 167 disabled or unattended vehicles and answered 799 calls for service.

  • NTSB Sets Hearing On Cause Of Fatal Natural Gas Explosion

    WASHINGTON (AP) – The National Transportation Safety Board has scheduled a hearing to determine the probable cause of a fatal natural gas explosion more than two years ago.
    The NTSB said in a news release Tuesday that the hearing is scheduled for April 23 at its conference center in Washington. The hearing was originally scheduled for March 12.
    Authorities said the explosion at an apartment complex in Silver Spring, Maryland, on Aug. 10, 2016, killed seven people and injured dozens.
