    As a result, school boards across the state are making plans for students if snow continues to impact openings this academic year.
    The current Maryland state law requires schools to be in session for 180 days each year.

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) — A nanny in Prince George’s County is found guilty for killing an eight-month-old baby left in her care.
    Oluremi Oyindasola faces nearly 70 years behind bars.
    Investigators said the 68-year-old live-in nanny was seen on surveillance video removing the nipple from the baby’s bottle and pouring it into the girl’s mouth until she was no longer conscious.

    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — The Maryland General Assembly will conduct a workplace climate survey as part of ongoing efforts to stop sexual harassment.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police are investigating a shooting that left a 24-year-old man in serious condition Monday night.
    At around 11:28 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 2400 block of Mosher Street for a shooting.
