• Woman Carjacked By Man With BB Gun At Linthicum Gas Station

    LINTHICUM, Md. (WJZ) — A Baltimore man is under arrest Monday, accused in an armed carjacking involving a BB gun in Anne Arundel County.
    The victim told police she was flagged down by Dante Early, who claimed to need a ride to work.
    The victim drove him to a Shell Gas station on Camp Meade Road in Linthicum, that’s when police say Early took out a gun and demanded the driver out of the car.
    Officers recovered a BB gun when they arrested Early.
    No one was hurt in the incident.

    JOPPA, Md. (WJZ) — A crash overturned two cars on I-95 past Exit 74 in Harford County, police say.
    Units reported that two vehicles were overturned with injuries. Extrication is in progress for other patients injured.
    All southbound lanes are reportedly blocked, according to MDTA. Northbound lanes are also backed up at this time.

    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) — Officials from Annapolis’ Office of Emergency Management said a recall was issued for the Kidde Smoke Detector.
    The alarms are being recalled after a yellow protective cap in limited instances may have been left on one of the two smoke sensors in affected products during the manufacturing process. It could compromise the smoke alarms’ ability to detect smoke.
