  ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Workers hope to finally fix the leaks at the Naval Academy Chapel, which has been refurbished at least six other times.
  The Capital Gazette reports the renovations have begun to repair the chapel, which has leaked since it was built in 1904. Workers also are patching and resoldering parts of the chapel dome as part of the $8.9 million renovation.

  BALTIMORE (AP) — Baltimore is on track to have 300 homicides in 2018, which would mark the fourth year in a row that the city has hit that mark.
  The Baltimore Sun reports a 64-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday night, making him the 298th homicide victim of 2018.

• Llama Rescued from Flooded Pasture in Howard County

  HOWARD COUNTY,MD – The Howard County Fire and EMS Special Operations Unit performed a unique rescue last night due to heavy downpours in the area.
  A llama was rescued from a flooded pasture in Mink Hollow by members of the special operations unit after it became stuck in the high waters.
  The llama was brought to safety and has been reunited with its owner.
  Officials also say they performed several car rescues Saturday as well.
