    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — N. Howard and W. Lexington Streets in Baltimore will be shut down as crews work to fix underground sinkholes in the area.
    This will also cause Light RailLink service to be suspended between the N. Avenue and convention center stations. A free bus bridge will will be used to transport passengers between the stations.
    The Baltimore City Department of Transportation made the announcement Sunday.

    WASHINGTON (AP) — Police say an employee was shot during an attempted robbery at a Whole Foods Market in Washington, D.C.
    The Metropolitan Police Department says the shooting happened Sunday morning inside the supermarket along a busy shopping strip in northeast Washington.

    ATLANTA (AP) — Rookie Lamar Jackson ran for a touchdown and Baltimore’s defense turned in a dominating performance, leading the Ravens to a 26-16 victory over the feeble Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

    BALTIMORE (AP) — A group of nurses at Johns Hopkins Hospital say the facility has staffing problems, lacks critical supplies and has shoddy equipment.
    The Baltimore Sun reports that more than 100 people attended a town hall Saturday to call for improved services at the hospital.

    ABERDEEN, Md. (WJZ) — A teacher at Aberdeen has been terminated and is being investigated about a sexual act on a student.
    According to our media partners the Baltimore Sun, a spokeswoman with Harford County Schools said the teacher is no longer employed by the district.
    The teacher has not been identified at this time.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore police are looking for 18-year-old Donald Brown Jr., a vulnerable adult last seen Saturday morning.
    He was seen in the 6600 block of Vincent Lane at around 10:47 a.m., wearing a black and gray jacket, khaki pants and black and white Nike sneakers.
    Donald is 5’8: and weighs around 140 lbs, police say he has autism.

    Morgan State University has been hosting their annual Kwanzaa celebration for more than 30 years, inviting families from Baltimore City and County to join in.

  • Two Killed, One Injured In Triple Shooting Saturday Night

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Two men are dead and another is injured after a triple shooting in East Baltimore.
    Officers responded to the 2400 block of Brentwood for a report of a shooting at around 6:47 p.m. Saturday night.
    Once there, they found a 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg, medics took the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
    At the same location, officers found an 18-year-old man and another man with gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead.

    BETHESDA, Md. (WJZ) — A man is dead after a head-on collision between two vehicles Saturday.
    US Park Police Officers were dispatched to inbound Clara Barton Parkway in the area of Lock 5 for the report of a motor vehicle crash.
    The units arrived to find the collision between the two vehicles.
    Two people from the crash were taken to local hospitals with life-threatening injuries.
