    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) — The U.S. Naval Academy has a special visitor, with the academy playing host to the commissioning of the USS Sioux City.
    The USS Sioux City is designed to sail and fight close to shore. “Up close and personal,” the vessel’s captain commander, Randy Malone, added.

    CANTON, Md. (WJZ) — Police are searching for a man who has been exposing himself on the streets of Canton.

    NEW YORK (AP) — The dispute between the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles over television rights fees returned to a committee of baseball executives Thursday after a lengthy court fight.

    MILLERVILLE, Md. (WJZ) — One woman is dead after a two-vehicle crash on Grover Road near Daniels Purchase Way in Millersville on Thursday.
    Officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash at around 10:33 a.m., when they arrived they learned that a Dodge Caliber was southbound on Grover Road when it lost control and crossed the double yellow centerline.

    HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. (WJZ) — The death of a 61-year-old Havre De Grace man has been ruled a homicide Thursday.
    Officers responded to the 200 block of North Washington Street in Havre De Grace, Md., on November 11 at around 9:30 a.m. to assist emergency medical service with someone who had a laceration.

    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) — The Naval Academy is investigating reports of a suspicious odor coming from a classroom in their chemistry department.
    Eight midshipmen reported the odor at 9:15 a.m. Thursday after entering the classroom in Michelson Hall.

    DEL RIO, Texas (AP) — One pilot is dead and another was injured after a training jet crashed at Laughlin Air Force Base in Texas.

    McLEAN, Va. (AP) — Drivers on the Dulles Toll Road will be paying higher rates in 2019.
    The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, which operates the road, voted Wednesday to increase rates both at the main plaza and at the road’s various exit ramps, effective Jan. 1.
    The toll at the main plaza will go up from $2.50 to $3.25. The toll at the ramps will increase from $1 to $1.50.

  • Weather To Delay Some Maryland School Schedules

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Due to weather forecasts, Harford County Public Schools will open two hours late Thursday morning.
    There will be no morning Pre-K, according to HCPS.
