    BALTIMORE CO., Md. (WJZ) — Authorities have identified the Good Samaritan who dropped off a stray cat that later tested positive for rabies, and let him know about its condition.
    The man dropped off the stray cat at Westview Animal Hospital on Johnnycake Road in Gwynn Oak at 8 a.m. on Thursday.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 27-year-old man.
    Patrick Brooks was last heard from at 1:50 p.m. on Sunday.
    Police say he could be driving an orange 2017 Chevy Sonic.
    Anyone with inflammation on Brooks is asked to call 911.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Baltimore Jewish Council will hold a memorial service for the victims of the mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue.

    Manitowoc, WI (WTMJ) — The Lakeshore Humane Society gave love and attention to an abandoned and abused dog as she passed away.
    In a Facebook post, the organization posted pictures of the forgotten hound they named Mabel.According to the post, Mabel was found in a ditch along Highway Q “emaciated, riddled with ball bullets and dying of cancer.”

  • Police: Man Dies After Being Shot In The Face In Baltimore

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police in Baltimore are working to find the person who shot a man in the face Saturday night.
    The shooting happened at 8:40 p.m., in the 5300 block of Plymouth Rd., according to the Baltimore Police Department.
    Responding officers found a man who had been shot in the face.
    The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

    COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — Javon Leake rushed for three touchdowns and scored on a 97-yard kickoff return, Kasim Hill had the best passing game of his career and Maryland rolled past Illinois 63-33 Saturday.
