    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) —A 9-year-old boy was injured while playing football in an Annapolis Park Saturday.
    Officials say the boy was injured following a helmet-to-helmet collision during a tackle.

    PASADENA, Md. (WJZ) — An abandoned 40-foot boat was reported to be leaking fuel into Stoney Creek on Sunday morning in Anne Arundel County.

    SEATTLE (AP) — Helicopters and trucks have relocated about a hundred mountain goats from Olympic National Park in an effort officials said will protect natural resources, reduce visitor safety issues and boost native goat populations elsewhere in Washington state.

  • Maryland’s ‘Move Over’ Law Expands To Include Service Vehicles

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Maryland is adding more protection for those working on our roadways by expanding the “Move Over” law to save lives.
    The “Move Over” law originally went into effect in 2010 to provide protection for law enforcement and emergency workers.
    A new expansion of the law now adds protection for drivers of service vehicles.
