  • Police In Maryland Investigate Killings As Murder-Suicide

    SPENCERVILLE, Md. (AP) — Detectives in Montgomery County are investigating the deaths of a man and woman at a home as a murder-suicide.
    Police said in a news release Sunday that officers responded to the home in the Spencerville area around 8 p.m. Saturday and found the 56-year-old man and 53-year-old woman dead inside. The victims had apparent gunshot wounds, and a gun was recovered at the scene.

  • Police: Teen Arrested After Stealing Soda While Armed

    DOVER, Del. (AP) — Delaware State Police have arrested a teenager after they say he stole a soda from a convenience store while armed with a stolen gun.
    Police said in a news release Sunday that the 17-year-old took the soda from the store in Dover Thursday evening. The store’s manager contacted police the next day when the teen returned. The woman told police she was concerned because she’d seen he was armed the night before.

    Parkville, MD (WJZ) — Baltimore County Police are investigating a road rage incident that ended in shooting on I-695 near Harford Road.
    Police say just after noon today two vehicles became involved in a road rage incident while traveling on the inner loop of I-695.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Two shootings were reported in Baltimore City Saturday night, one fatal.
    Officers were called to the 2500 block of E. Biddle Street in east Baltimore for a report of a shooting at around 7:39 p.m.
    When officers arrived, they found a 35-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his upper body. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

    (CNN) — A 13-year-old boy was attacked early Saturday by a shark while diving for lobsters in waters off Encinitas, California, near San Diego, authorities said.
    The boy sustained traumatic injuries to his upper torso and was taken to a hospital. His current condition is unknown, Encinitas lifeguard Capt. Larry Giles told reporters.
