    WHEATON, Md. (WJZ) — Montgomery County Police are looking for a missing Wheaton girl Thursday.
    Jhohen Nohrey Calderon, 15, of the 3300 block of Clay Street, was last seen at around 7 a.m. Thursday morning, when she left her home on foot.
    Calderon is 5’2″ and weighs 140 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
    Police and family are concerned for Calderon’s welfare, police said.

  • Police Release Photo Of Man Wanted In Road Rage Incident

    ELKTON, Md. (WJZ) — Police are working to identify a man involved in a road rage incident in Cecil County Thursday afternoon.
    Maryland State Police released a photo of a suspect wanted in connection with a road rage and destruction of property incident that happened at 12:30 p.m. near westbound Route 40 and Route 270.

  • Footage From Wounded Officer’s Body Cam Damaged In Shootout Can’t Be Retrieved

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police say footage from a body camera of an officer who was wounded during shootout Sunday cannot be retrieved after his camera was struck by a bullet.
    Both officers involved were wearing body-worn cameras. One of the cameras was shot and damaged, so it was sent back to Axon to retrieve the data, but Axon was unable to retrieve the footage.
    The Baltimore officer who was wounded during the shootout Sunday night was released from the hospital a day after the shooting.

    (CBS Local)– Cases of babies born infected with syphilis have reached a level not seen in two decades.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Showers and gusty thunderstorms crossed the region between 5 and 9 p.m. Wednesday evening, as a cold front moved through.
    Much cooler air is on the way, with a wave of low pressure along that front will likely bring another round of light rain later Thursday night and into Friday morning.
    Things will slowly clear just in time for the weekend. It’s looking very nice for both Saturday and Sunday, as well as early next week.
