    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — The U.S. Naval Academy’s cyber operations program has been formally accredited.
    The academy said Friday the program was accredited recently by ABET, a leading nonprofit accrediting agency. Three other universities also were accredited under the new cybersecurity criteria: the U.S. Air Force Academy, Towson University and Southeast Missouri State University.

    BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) — David Wise, also known as “Rambo” and “Rampage” was sentenced to 13 years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release for the armed robbery of a federally licensed firearms dealer.
    According to a plea agreement, Wise, 23, along with four other conspirators, robbed a bait, tackle, and gun store in Dundalk, Maryland. The group had specifically targeted the store in order to steal guns to sell and use.

    CATONSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) — The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating reports of a shooting near a retirement community.
    Officers were called out to the 700 block of Maiden Choice Ln. in Catonsville.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Officers are investigating a homicide and two walk-in shooting victims.
    Officers were advised of a walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital Thursday at around 7:56 p.m.
    Once at the location, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.
    At around 8:30 p.m., while in the 4100 block of Calloway Avenue, investigators located a man inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the chest.
