    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police are investigating a shooting in West Baltimore Tuesday afternoon.

    ESSEX, Md. (WJZ) — Hurricane Isabel pushed a storm surge up the Chesapeake Bay in September 2013, flooding Annapolis and triggering water rescues in Baltimore.

    ELKRIDGE, Md. (WJZ) — Two people were rescued from a car stuck in high water in Elkridge, Maryland.
    Crews got the call at 4:45 p.m. for a car stuck in high water at Furnace Avenue and Race Road.
    One victim has been removed from the vehicle in flood water so far.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 25-year-old man has died after a report of a shooting Tuesday morning.
    Police responded to the 1600 block of Monroe Street at around 10:57 a.m., where they found the man suffering gunshot wounds to the face and the chest.
    The victim was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

  • Man Sentenced To 40 Years In Shaking Death Of Girlfriend’s Infant Son

    BALTIMORE, Md (WJZ) — Cornelius McBride pled guilty to child abuse in the May 2016 murder of his girlfriend’s ten-month son, Kahlil Cannady.
    McBride was sentenced to 40 years in prison with all but 20 years suspended and five years of supervised probation.
    He was also sentenced to serve a five-year concurrent sentence for a domestic violence incident in March 2017 involving the victim’s mother.

    WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — A Maryland doctor charged with conspiring to commit bank fraud and making false statements on loan applications has agreed to enter a guilty plea.

    WASHINGTON (AP) — The city council in the nation’s capital may repeal a law passed this summer that will raise tipped worker wages to match minimum wage by 2026.

    BALTIMORE (AP) — The Baltimore Orioles lost their 107th game, tied for most in a season since their arrival in 1954, falling to the Toronto Blue Jays 5-0 Monday night.
    Rookie Ryan Borucki pitched eight innings of three-hit ball for the Blue Jays, who have won 13 of 17 games between the two bottom teams in the AL East.
    Toronto stands 25 games better than the Orioles, whose 43-107 record is worst in the majors. The only other Orioles team with 107 defeats was the 1988 club, which started 0-2
  • Man Accused Of Rubbing Produce On His Butt In DC Grocery Store

    MANASSAS, VA— A man who picked up produce, pulled down his pants, rubbed the produce on his buttocks and then put it back on the shelf in a Giant Food at 10100 Dumfries Road was arrested late Saturday afternoon, according to Manassas City Police.
    Michael Dwayne Johnson, 27, of Manassas, was charged with destruction of property and indecent exposure. Police say the store had to discard several pallets of produce following the incident, which occurred around 4:30 p.m.
