  MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — A man told investigators he left a 5-month-old baby boy in the woods after a weekend car crash because the baby was very heavy, court records said.
  Officers found the baby — cold and hungry — under a pile of debris and sticks early Sunday, several hours after the crash.

  BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Vanished or merely hiding? The invasive Chinese mitten crab hasn’t been seen in the Chesapeake Bay since 2012. That’s a good thing because they’re capable of making trouble, including with the way they reproduce.

  (CNN)- Wildlife rangers in northern Australia captured a massive 600 kilogram (1,300 pound) crocodile after first spotting it nearly a decade ago.
  The crocodile, estimated to be more than 60 years old, was found lurking near a boat ramp in the Katherine River. At 4.71 meters (15.45 feet), the croc is the longest-ever trapped in the region.

  DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ) — Several teens were taken into custody Monday night in Dundalk after they allegedly rammed a Baltimore County Police cruiser with a stolen Jeep.

  (CNN) — Divers and rescue workers in Thailand have begun what could be the final push to free four boys and their soccer coach still trapped in a cave in the country’s remote north, according to a Thai Navy official with knowledge of the operational details.
