• Concertgoer Dies At Campground Of Delaware Music Festival

    DOVER, Del. (AP) — A 20-year-old woman has died on the campgrounds of a popular music festival in Delaware that has drawn tens of thousands of people.
    WDEL-FM reports that police have identified the dead concertgoer as Caroline Friedman of Philadelphia. She was found unresponsive early Sunday in a camping area at Dover International Speedway.

    TRENTON, NJ (AP) — Authorities say it appears that “neighborhood beef” is behind a fatal shooting that erupted at an all-night New Jersey arts festival.

    CHARLES COUNTY, MD (WJZ)– The bodies of two Montgomery County Men were recovered last night from the Potomac River in Charles County.
    Investigators with the Maryland Natural Resources Police say a boat was found empty and turning circles near Cobb Island.   Divers were called to the scene and were able to located the bodies of the two men.

  • Driver Injured, Road Closed After Tractor-Trailer Overturns On Md. Highway

    EDGEWOOD, Md. (WJZ) — A tractor-trailer overturned Saturday afternoon, trapping a driver inside and shutting down a Maryland highway for hours.
    Crews responded to MD-24 at Trimble Road in Edgewood just after 3 p.m.
    About a half hour later, crews were able to free the driver who was uninjured.
    Officials have not yet determined what caused the truck to overturn.
    The highway is still shut down in both directions while crews continue to clean up.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — June is pride month and the people of Charm City are proudly displaying their rainbow colors.

  • Police Warning Baltimore Co. Residents After Spike In Car Thefts

    BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) — Baltimore County police say they are tracking a recent spike in thefts from cars, and they’re warning residents to be vigilant.
    Police say the car break-ins are happening in a certain part of the county, including Catonsville. Some incidents were reported in the 2000 block of Windy Run Rd.
