    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A home that helps some of the cities most vulnerable children got a major makeover Tuesday.
    Seventy volunteers from around Baltimore helped spruce up a home that’s used to keep homeless children off the streets and out of area shelters.

  • 3-Year-Old Struck By MTA Bus

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 3-year-old was struck by an MTA bus Tuesday afternoon.
    Police confirm that the victim has non-life threatening injuries after being hit by the bus.
    The crash happened near 33rd St and Greenmount Ave. in Baltimore.
    The preliminary investigation shows that the 3-year-old broke free from the mother, and ran onto the road.
    The bus driver tried to avoid the child, but could avoid hitting the child, who was taken to a local hospital.

    SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — Authorities in Maryland have released the name of a police officer who fatally shot a man during a physical confrontation.
    The Montgomery County Police Department issued a statement Tuesday identifying the officer as Anand Badgujar. He has roughly two years with the department and has been placed on administrative leave.

    BALTIMORE CO. (WJZ) — Police have identified the man whose body was found behind a dumpster at Eastpoint Mall Monday morning.

    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Supporters of wind and solar energy are highlighting support among candidates for state legislative seats in Maryland.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore Police reported two shootings Monday night that resulted in the death of two women.
