    ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — The Tampa Bay Rays’ latest bullpen day had a rocky beginning and a strong finish.
    Relievers Vidal Nuno and Austin Pruitt combined to throw 8 2/3 scoreless innings, Brad Miller had three RBIs and the Rays beat the Baltimore Orioles 8-3 on Sunday.
    Nuno (1-0) and Pruitt followed Sergio Romo, who was charged with three runs in one-third of an inning as the starter as the Rays went with an unconventional pitching lineup for the third consecutive day.

  • Ocean City Jet Ski Accident Leaves Woman In Critical Condition

    OCEAN CITY, MD (WJZ) — Maryland Natural Resources Police say a Pennsylvania woman is in critical condition at Christiana Hospital after two personal watercrafts collided in the waters off of Ocean City.
    Investigators believe the woman and the other driver were going about 35mph at the time of the accident.
    The driver of the second personal watercraft was not injured but has been charged with negligent operation.
    Maryland Natural Resources Police continue to investigate this accident.

    CROWNSVILLE, MD (WJZ) — Maryland Natural Resources Police are investigating after a man is killed in an early morning boating accident.
    Investigators remain on scene after a 51-year-old man from Anne Arundel County died after his boat struck a marker in the Severn River area.

  • Maryland Police Looking Into Cause Of Fatal Motorcycle Crash

    OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) — Police in Maryland are continuing to investigate a fatal motorcycle crash.
    Officers were sent to the area of 77th Street and Coastal Highway Saturday afternoon for a report of a serious collision between a motorcycle and a sport utility vehicle.
    First responders confirmed that the motorcyclist was deceased shortly after their arrival. Police identified him as 43-year-old Armondo Bond of Staten Island, New York. The driver of the SUV was not injured.
