    OCEAN CITY, Md. (WJZ) — Ocean City is asking visitors to stop using plastic straws this summer in an effort to protect beaches and cut down on pollution.
    Ocean City businesses are joining the pledge to clean up the Chesapeake Bay, and one way you may notice a difference is when you order a drink.

    ANNAPOLIS, MD — A majority of 2017’s fastest-growing cities in the United States are in the South and seven of the country’s 15 fastest-growing cities are in Texas, according to new population estimates released by the U.S. Census Bureau on Thursday.

    PARKVILLE, Md. (WJZ) — Baltimore County Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 12-year-old boy.
    James Christian Tyler was last seen Friday around 3 p.m. leaving his home in the 8700 block of Maravoss Lane in Parkville, Maryland.
    Tyler is 5 feet, about 100 lbs. and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, white shorts and black shoes.

  • Body Found Near Chesapeake Bay Bridge

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A body was recovered near the Bay Bridge on Friday afternoon, according to our media partner The Baltimore Sun.
    Police reportedly found an abandoned car on the eastbound span of the bridge. The body was discovered near the bridge around 2 p.m.
    The cause of death and the person’s identity have not been released.
    An investigation is ongoing.
