    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Authorities have arrested a York, Pennsylvania man after he said he forgot that he had a loaded handgun in his bag at Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport Monday.
    Transportation Security Administration officers say they confiscated the man’s loaded .357 caliber handgun after the TSA checkpoint x-ray machine revealed the gun in the man’s carry-on bag.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 24-year-old Baltimore man has been arrested for a murder earlier this month.
    Christopher White has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of D’Andre Johnson on May 8.
    Johnson was found with multiple gunshot wounds after a shooting in the 2400 block of Edmondson Ave.
    He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
    Police identified White as a suspect in Johnson’s death, and he was arrested two days after the shooting.

    CASCADE, Md. (AP) — Police say a Maryland man who used the name “VenomMan20” on YouTube has pleaded guilty to two counts of illegal possession of venomous snakes after a search of his home turned up six rattlesnakes and other snakes.
    Maryland Natural Resources Police said Brandon Joseph Boyles, 29, of Cascade, Maryland, was prohibited from owning dangerous animals in Maryland and required to perform 20 hours of community service.

    WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court on Monday struck down a federal law that bars gambling on football, basketball, baseball and other sports in most states, giving states the go-ahead to legalize betting on sports.
    The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 to strike down the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act. The 1992 law barred state-authorized sports gambling with some exceptions. It made Nevada the only state where a person could wager on the results of a single game.

    CHURCHVILLE, Md. (WJZ) — Five children were injured Monday morning when the school bus they were riding in collided with a tractor-trailer.
    State Police said the crash happened around 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of Route 136 and Route 22 in Churchville.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore Police say they have arrested Tiffany Nutter, 35, for the homicide of her 2-month-old son, Jawuan Pinkeny.
    Police say they responded to a hospital on Friday for a report of an injured child and located the infant with injuries to multiple areas of his body.
    Jawuan was pronounced dead a short time later. His death was ruled a homicide due to blunt force trauma.
