    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland’s attorney general is continuing to press a legal fight after federal appeals court panel struck down Maryland’s first-in-the-nation law against pharmaceutical price gouging.
    In a 2-1 ruling, the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel ruled this month that the law is unconstitutional because it forces manufacturers and wholesalers to act in accordance with Maryland law outside of Maryland, burdening interstate commerce.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The National Aquarium in Baltimore celebrated a rescue milestone Friday.
    Two new grey seals nicknamed Lox, which is a male, and Latte, a female, joined former rescue Marmalade, a male harbor seal, for a pool party.
    It’s the first time ever that the National Aquarium has had three seals in its long-term rehabilitation program.
    The three will receive daily treatment at the aquarium’s new animal care and rescue center in Johnstown.

    Changes need to be made at a Maryland hydroelectric dam before its federal license can be renewed, state environmental regulators say.
    The Maryland Department of the Environment announced Friday that Exelon, the energy company that runs the Conowingo Dam, needs to reduce the amount of sediment and nutrients that flow downstream, among other requirements.
