• Prince George’s Co. Cop Accused Of Assaulting Girlfriend Suspended

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A Prince George’s County Police officer accused of assaulting his girlfriend has been suspended, the department announced Tuesday.
    Steven Pascal was arrested earlier this month at Miami International Airport on a warrant issued in Maryland. Authorities said the 27-year-old’s girlfriend accused him of assaulting her and filed a warrant for assault and reckless endangerment with Anne Arundel County police while Pascal was on a trip to Mexico.

    Authorities say Pinkney Jones was last seen on April 16, in the 5700 block of Fair Oaks Avenue.He’s described as 5-foot-4 African American man that weighs 160 pounds. Police say he was last seen wearing a yellow jacket, a gray hoodie and brown boots.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Baltimore Humane Society is looking for someone to foster four nursing puppies.
    According to the animal rescue, their nursing mother stopped allowing her puppies to nurse while she was in foster care. They will need to be bottle fed for at least two weeks until they can eat solid food.
    The humane society is looking for two volunteers to take two puppies each. The puppies will need to be bottle fed every 3 to 4 hours. No prior experience is needed.

  • Gang Member Gets Nearly 12 Years In Racketeering Case

    BALTIMORE (AP) — A judge has sentenced a member of the Black Guerilla Family gang to nearly 12 years in prison for conspiring to participating in racketeering.
    U.S. District Judge James Bredar sentenced 23-year-old Norman Handy on Monday. According to his plea agreement, Handy belonged to an offshoot of the gang known as the Greenmount Avenue Regime.
