    BOSTON (AP) — Hanley Ramirez hit a two-run homer and drove in three runs, and the Boston Red Sox beat the Baltimore Orioles 10-3 on Saturday to get to 12-2 — the best start in their 118-year history.
    Andrew Benintendi had a two-run single and an RBI double, and J.D. Martinez hit a solo homer for the Red Sox.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police say two teens, including one who died from her injuries, are among nine people who were shot throughout Baltimore on Friday.
    The first shooting led to a West Baltimore school being placed on lockdown.

    Baltimore (WJZ) — Baltimore city police were called to the 500 block of North East avenue around 10:38pm on Friday night for a report of a shooting.
    When officers arrived they located at 25 year-old male suffering from two gunshot wounds to the chest.
    The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A Chevy Chase man is facing child pornography charges for allegedly secretly recording dozens of children at his home and at a Silver Spring gymnastics center.
    Jonathan Oldale was arrested Friday and charged with production of child pornography.

    We reached a very toasty 86 degrees at 4 p.m. at BWI-Marshall Airport, only 3 degrees shy of the record.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A threat targeting African-Americans was discovered at Chesapeake High School on Thursday, school officials say.

  • Police Investigating Home Invasion In Baltimore County

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore County Police are searching for three suspects wanted for an armed home invasion.
    Officers responded to the scene in the 2100 block of Smith Avenue in Pikesville around 5:30 a.m. Police say three suspects kicked in the door of a home.
    The trio allegedly pointed a gun at a man and his mother and ordered them into the bathroom.

    Kevin Anderson made the announcement Friday, after holding the position since 2010.
