    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — The Maryland Senate has expanded a measure to improve school safety by requiring a school resource officer or otherwise adequate law enforcement coverage at all public schools by the start of next school year.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police have issued a silver alert for a missing 74-year-old woman from Pikesville.
    Lynn Boyle was last seen at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, driving a light green 2014 4-door Toyota Prius with Maryland tag 8DG6529.
    She was northbound on I-83 near the Padonia Rd. exit while following behind her husband on their way to a vehicle maintenance shop.

    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has signed measures to help stabilize health insurance rates in the Maryland Health Care Exchange’s distressed individual market.

    Police say officers responded to the 3400 block of Hilldale Place for a report of discharging.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A student at Chesapeake High School in Anne Arundel County allegedly had a confederate flag flying from the back of his truck.

  • Missing Woman One Of The Victims In Fatal Head On Collision

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Two people are dead following an early morning crash on I-695. According to authorities, one of the drivers was going the wrong way.
    The crash happened Thursday around 2:00 a.m. on the Westside inner loop of 695 at Liberty Road.
    Police say Jorene Long, 88, was driving a 2003 Subaru Forester and was pronounced dead at the scene.
