    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Mother Nature can be thanked for once again changing the peak bloom dates for cherry blossoms in Washington, D.C.
    Peak bloom is expected between April 8 and April 12 due to a late blast of winter weather this month, the National Park Service announced Friday.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) —An “initial assessment” of 284 cases affected by eight indicted members of a corrupt Baltimore Police task force has been completed by the Baltimore State’s Attorney’s Office.
    Prosecutors say they dropped 187 cases involving the convicted officers.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) —Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck, “possibly intentionally,” in downtown Baltimore, according to Baltimore Police spokesman T.J. Smith.
    It happened on Fayette Street, near the intersection with Gay Street, around 3 p.m.

    UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) — A former substitute teacher and youth basketball coach in Maryland has pleaded guilty to state and federal child pornography charges.
