    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police have released new information as they continue their investigation into the fatal shooting of Prince George’s County Police Department Sergeant Mujahid Ramzziddin.
    Ramzziddin was shot by Glenn Tyndell after a neighbor came to get help with a domestic situation.
    As Ramzziddin went to help the woman, he was confronted by her estranged husband, Tyndell, who was armed with a shotgun.

    BALTIMORE (AP) — A convicted sex offender has pleaded guilty to coercion and enticement of a child after terrorizing a 13-year-old girl for months.
    The U.S. Attorney’s office in Maryland says Piere Ceradoy repeatedly enticed the victim to take photographs and stream live videos of herself engaging in sexually explicit activities.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police have arrested a man accused of forcing an 18-year-old in prostitution.
    Jabari Theodore, 26, has been charged with human trafficking, prostitution, and concealing a deadly weapon. He was released from jail after posting $2,500 bond.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Baltimore County Police Department is searching the suspect and vehicle involved in a fatal auto-pedestrian crash late Tuesday night.

    DALTON, Ga. (AP) — A social studies teacher barricaded himself inside a locked classroom at a Georgia high school on Wednesday and apparently fired a single shot from a handgun, authorities said.

    Juan Carlos Sandoval-Rodriguez, 20, has been charged with first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment for the murder of Jose Portillo.
    Sandoval-Rodriguez was already incarcerated at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center on unrelated charges.

    HYATTSVILLE, Md. (AP) — Police say a Maryland man threw sulfuric acid on his roommate’s face and body, leaving her with critical injuries.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police say a man whose body was found on fire in the 1200 block of East Belvedere Avenue Tuesday died as a result of blunt force trauma.
    Officers responded to the scene around 1:20 a.m. for a report of a fire, and found members of the Baltimore City Fire Department extinguishing the man’s body.
    He was pronounced dead on the scene.
    The Medical Examiner’s office ruled that he was set on fire after being assaulted.
