• Ravens Cheerleaders Visit Troops Deployed In Middle East

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — It may be the NFL offseason but Baltimore Ravens cheerleaders are at work traveling around the world to visit U.S. troops.
    The squad recently traveled to the Middle East to brightening the days of soldiers overseas.
    The cheerleaders visited several different bases to spend time with troops in Afghanistan, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration has determined that the entire Baltimore Metro Subway System will remain closed for up to four weeks.
    Following a “thorough inspection,” it was found that the Metro SubwayLink will need to be closed until March 11 for safety reasons.

    (CNN) — All 71 people aboard a Saratov Airlines plane died when the plane crashed southeast of Moscow on Sunday, Russian state news agency Tass reported.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — An accident on Baltimore-Washington Parkway near Lansdowne, Maryland halted traffic for more than an hour Saturday night.
    Traffic headed north was at a crawl around 5 p.m. as the northbound right shoulder lane was closed near the I-895 exit.
    Crews were seen on the state traffic camera responding to the incident.
    It is not yet clear how many vehicles were involved or the cause of the accident.
