    NEW YORK (AP) — Foam cups at Dunkin’ Donuts will soon be history, removing what the company estimates will be a billion of them each year from the waste stream.
    Dunkin’ said Wednesday that the polystyrene foam cups will be completely phased out from its stores globally by 2020.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A Southwest Airlines plane nearly went off the runway Wednesday morning just before it was set to depart from BWI Airport.
    The flight was set to go to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and as it was heading out for departure just after 10 a.m., the aircraft slid and stopped near the edge of the taxiway.
    No injuries were reported, and the passengers were taken off the plane, before going back to the airport terminal.

    LAS VEGAS (AP) — Casino mogul Steve Wynn has resigned as chairman and CEO at Wynn Resorts amid sexual misconduct allegations.
    Wynn Resorts says Tuesday the resignation is effective immediately.
    The Wall Street Journal reported Jan. 26 that a number of women said Wynn harassed or assaulted them and that one case led to a $7.5 million settlement.
    The Las Vegas billionaire has vehemently denied the allegations, which he attributes to a campaign led by his ex-wife.
