    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Crews are on the scene of a fatal wreck in Clarksville Monday afternoon.
    The two-vehicle crash happened on Ten Oaks Rd., near Heather Glen Way.
    Chopper 13 was above the scene, and one vehicle was left on its roof following the crash.

    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan is creating a state office to assist small businesses in response to legislation mandating paid sick leave for workers.
    The General Assembly this week passed the legislation, overriding Hogan’s veto. The law applies to all business in Maryland with more than 15 employees, allowing workers to earn up to five paid sick days a year.

    Dolores O’Riordan, lead singer of the Irish band The Cranberries, has died in London at the age of 46, her publicist confirmed to the BBC.

    WASHINGTON (AP) — A train has derailed in a tunnel in downtown Washington but officials say there are no injuries.
    The city’s Metro rail system said in a tweet that the derailment happened around 6:40 a.m. Monday. At just after 8:15 a.m. Metro tweeted that all passengers on the train had been evacuated and that there were no injuries.
    The rail system says the Red Line train that derailed was carrying 60 passengers and the derailment happened outside the Farragut North station.
