    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– A video that reportedly shows a woman being left outside of a Baltimore emergency center has gone viral.
    A pedestrian captured the incident on video, in which he says staff at the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown campus left the woman, only in her hospital gown, near a bus stop in about 30-40 degree weather Wednesday night.

  • Strange Odor At Elementary School Causes Evacuation

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — According to Anne Arundel County Schools, a strange odor was detected in Park Elementary school at 201 East 11th Ave.
    Anne Arundel County Fire Department was dispatched to the building and the school was evacuated.
    The smell was attributed to construction work outside of the building and the air quality inside was deemed safe.
    No injuries were reported and students were allowed back into the building.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Officials in Baltimore say they plan to relocate more than 120 families from West Baltimore’s Gilmor Homes public housing project.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 33-year-old historian has pleaded guilty to charges related to theft of records from the National Archives and Records Administration. Authorities say he sold most of the items he stole.
    Antonin DeHays pleaded guilty to theft of government property. He faces up to 10 years in prison, and his sentencing is set for April 4.

    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland lawmakers are getting close to requiring paid sick leave at many businesses after the House of Delegates voted Thursday to override Gov. Larry Hogan’s veto.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A kayaker fell into the water about 1/4 mile from the Patapsco River shoreline in Pasadena Thursday.
    The Maryland Natural Resources Police and the Anne Arundel County Fire Department partnered in the rescue.

    DOVER, Del. (AP) — A Maryland man accused of impersonating an FBI agent has reached a plea agreement with federal prosecutors in Delaware.
    At a hearing Wednesday in Wilmington, 28-year-old Eric Kappesser of Stevensville agreed to plead guilty to one count of impersonating a federal official, which carries a maximum penalty of three years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

    URBANA, Md. (AP) — A Maryland bridge that was heavily damaged after being struck by a garbage truck last month is set to reopen.
    The MD 355 Bridge, also known as the Urbana Pike bridge, runs over the Monocacy River in Frederick County.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Homicide detectives are investigating a deadly incident that happened early Thursday morning in Southwest Baltimore.
    Police say they found a 24-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds in the 200 block of North Hilton Street. Officers arrived to the scene at 12:52 a.m..
