    WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said Monday that he intends to declare North Korea a state sponsor of terror.
    Trump called the move a long overdue step and part of the U.S. “maximum pressure campaign” against the North.

  • Ocean City Officer Saves A Seagull After Being Hooked

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — An Ocean City officer goes above and beyond to save a seagull who had a hook in its leg.
    The department posted the story on their Facebook page on Sunday saying it was hooked by a very large fishing lure. Thanks to a local fisherman who was able to distract the seagull using bait, the officer was able to safely remove the lure from the seagull’s leg.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)–  A Perry Hall Middle School student has been arrested for a threat that was posted on social media Sunday, according to Baltimore County police.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Mel Tillis, the affable longtime country music star who wrote hits for Kenny Rogers, Ricky Skaggs and many others, and overcame a stutter to sing on dozens of his own singles, has died.
    A spokesman for Tillis, Don Murry Grubbs, said Tillis died early Sunday at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Florida. He was 85.

  • Police: Child Accidentally Shoots 3-Year-Old In Minnesota

    DEER CREEK, Minn. (AP) — Authorities in western Minnesota say a 3-year-old child was accidentally shot and wounded by another child.
    The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says it received a 911 call about the shooting from a home in Deer Creek around 7:30 a.m. Sunday. The caller reported a 5-year-old had caused the accidental gunshot wound.
    The 3-year-old was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital before being sent to a Minneapolis hospital. Authorities say the victim is stable.
