  • Maryland Police Investigate ‘Confederate Lives Matter’ Posts

    HARWOOD, Md. (AP) — Police in Maryland are investigating a complaint that high school students harassed another student by posting threatening language under the name “Confederate Lives Matter.”
    The Capital Gazette reports that Anne Arundel police began their investigation Friday into messages posted on Snapchat with obscene and violent language aimed at a transgender student. The messages were allegedly posted by students at Southern High School.

  • Baltimore Co. Bank Robber Strikes Again; Robs 2 More Banks Friday

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information that will help them catch the man who has robbed four banks in two weeks in Baltimore County.
    Authorities believe the man is responsible for robbing two M&T Banks in Parkville, along with two banks in Towson on Friday.

  • Police Searching For Driver Who Fled Fatal Wreck

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police are working to find the driver who fled the scene of a fatal wreck early Saturday morning.
    According to the Baltimore Police Department, the wreck happened at 2 a.m., in the 2300 block of Belair Rd.
    Responding officers found a 2002 Kia Sorento that had crashed into the back of a parked flatbed tow truck.
    A 27-year-old female passenger of the Sorento was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police are working to find the driver who fled the scene of a fatal wreck early Saturday morning.
    According to the Baltimore Police Department, the wreck happened at 2 a.m., in the 2300 block of Belair Rd.

  • Trooper Hospitalized After Being Hit By Drunk Driver

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A Maryland State Police trooper is being treated at a hospital after being hit by a drunk driver early Saturday morning.
    Just after 1:30 a.m., Maryland State Police TFC Angel Ortiz was assisting with a disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Capital Beltway at Allentown Rd.
    Ortiz was parked behind the disabled vehicle, while the driver was changing a flat tire, when his marked Ford Explorer was hit by a silver Audi A-5.
