    BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — A man has been arrested and charged with assaulting and injuring U.S. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky.
    Kentucky State Police said in a news release Saturday that Paul suffered a minor injury when 59-year-old Rene Boucher assaulted him at his Warren County home on Friday afternoon.

    EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Police are investigating after the parents of an 8-year-old girl found four Adderall pills inside her bag of Halloween candy.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Maryland State Police is searching for the person who shot out the windows of at least five vehicles in Montgomery County Friday evening.
    Troopers were called out just after 8 p.m., after getting several reports of car windows being shot out along I-270.
    Responding troopers found that four cars and one Montgomery County Ride On Bus had damage to their driver’s side window.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police need help finding the driver who fled the scene after hitting an elderly woman who was crossing the street.
    According to police, the hit and run happened Saturday at 10:30 a.m., on W. Lombard St.
    Police say a 71-year-old woman was trying to cross the street, when she was struck by a Nissan Sentra. The driver of the vehicle stopped briefly after the crash, but then left the scene.

  • Delaware Carjacking Suspect Arrested In Maryland

    ELKTON, Md. (AP) — Authorities say a woman suspected of stealing a car from a Delaware gas station last month while a young boy was inside has been arrested in Maryland.
    Delaware State Police said in a statement Friday that 31-year-old Amy Davis was taken into custody without incident at a motel in Elkton. She’s facing charges in connection with the car theft at a Claymont Wawa.
    Police say they received an anonymous tip and members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force apprehended Davis.
