  • Fresh Start Program Gives At-Risk City Youth Shot At Graduation, Employment

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– A program designed to take at-risk Baltimore teens and teach them academic skills to obtain a high school diploma of GED is yielding positive results.
    The Fresh Start program takes teens who have run-in’s with the law and teaches them academic skills to graduate high school. About two dozen students can join at a time.
    High school graduate Kevin Brown, 17, was determined to never go back to the Baltimore Juvenile Justice Center after being released last year.

    NEW YORK (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a man who drove a truck down a bike path near the World Trade Center and killed eight people was “consumed by hate and a twisted ideology.”

    BALTIMORE (AP/WJZ) — The FBI is searching for a second person wanted for questioning in connection with the New York City terror attack, in which eight people were killed when a man drove onto a bike lane.
    The FBI is seeking information about Mukhammadzoir Kadirov in relation to Tuesday’s attack.

    Michael Dooley was reported missing after last being seen on October 27.
