    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore County police have arrested a man who allegedly shot at his girlfriend at a hair salon Sunday.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Baltimore County Police Department reports they have a person in custody after an incident reported near Foundry Row.

    FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Police say a 12-year-old boy jumped from an overpass above Interstate 66 in northern Virginia and fell onto a car, killing the driver.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Firefighters were able to resuscitate three children after rescuing them from a house fire Sunday morning.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The 9/11 memorial stair climb was held Saturday to honor the first responders who paid the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.
    The memorial took place at M&T Bank Stadium.
    People climbed flights of stairs in the stadium stands equaling 110 flights,  the same number as the World Trade Center towers.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — National Take Back Day was held Saturday to help get excess prescription drugs off the streets.
    The national campaign encourages people to drop off old and unused pills to designated drop off points.
    The boxes were placed in front of Baltimore County Police Departments, and other police departments and locations throughout Maryland.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 38-year-old man is recovering from a gunshot wound to the buttocks after police say he was shot by a suspect who fired into a home through a mail slot.

  • 14-Year-Old Critically Injured In Overnight Shooting

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 14-year-old is in critical condition after being shot late Saturday night in Laurel.
    The Howard County Police Department reports the shooting happened just after 11 p.m., in the 9000 block of N. Laurel Rd.
    Authorities were already in the area for an unrelated call, when they heard a gunshot. Officers found a 14-year-old who had been shot.
    The victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital with life threatening injuries.
