    ENFIELD, Conn. (AP) — Lego has unveiled a set of figures celebrating the women of NASA.
    The 231-piece set features Sally Ride, the first American female astronaut, and Mae Jemison, the first black woman to travel in space. Also included in the set are figures of astronomer and educator Nancy Grace Roman and computer scientist Margaret Hamilton.

  • 15-Year-Old Boy In Critical Condition After Being Shot In Elkridge

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Howard County police confirmed a 15-year-old boy was shot Saturday morning in Elkridge.
    Officers say the incident happened around 11:46 a.m. in the 6400 block of Greenfield Road.
    Investigators say when they arrived at the scene they saw the 15-year-old suffering from the gunshot wound and a 16-year-old relative was standing outside of an apartment building.
    The victim was flown to Shock Trauma and is currently listed in critical condition.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)–A viewing for Edgewood shooting victim Enis Mrvolijak will be held Tuesday, according to Advance Granite Solutions, the company where Mrvolijak worked.
    Mrvolijak was one of three victims authorities say was killed by disgruntled employee Radee Prince at the granite company where they all worked.

  • Hawaii Judge Extends Prohibition On Trump’s Travel Ban

    HONOLULU (AP) — The federal judge in Hawaii who stopped President Donald Trump’s travel ban from taking effect this week has extended the order.
    U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson on Friday converted the temporary restraining order to a preliminary injunction.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Domino Sugar in Locust Point is receiving its largest-ever shipment of sugar on Friday.
