    ABILENE, Texas (AP) — Police in West Texas have arrested a sleepy robbery suspect after investigators say he was caught snoozing at the scene.
    Taylor County jail records show 20-year-old Kanyoni Sedekiya of Abilene was being held Sunday on an aggravated robbery charge, with bond set at $60,000.
    Jail records do not list an attorney to speak for Sedekiya, who was arrested before dawn Friday at an Abilene apartment complex.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A Maryland deputy is recovering in the hospital after being bit by a dog while trying to serve two outstanding warrants.
    The Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office deputy went to a home on Thompson Ave., in Severn, to serve outstanding warrants for Jose Arrucha Sunday morning.
    While the deputy was inside the home, a dog bit his calf. A resident helped the deputy get free from the dog.
    The deputy was taken to a hospital to be treated for the puncture wounds.

    MOUNT RAINIER, Md. (AP) — Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found near a library.
    Mount Rainier Police say the body was found near the city library on Rhode Island Avenue.
