    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Crowds were already rolling in Tuesday afternoon, hours ahead of the fireworks show above the Inner Harbor.
    With an estimated 100,000 people expected to descend on downtown, security is at an all time high.
    As people pour in to watch the fireworks, police are keeping watch too.

    NEW YORK (AP) — Police say five people have been taken into custody after trying to disrupt the annual Nathan’s Famous July Fourth hot dog eating contest in New York.
    About midway through the men’s competition, some people amid the crowd of spectators at the contest on the Coney Island boardwalk appeared to be trying to unfold a black banner. Police stationed at the event rushed into the crowd, handcuffed the demonstrators and took them away.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 30-year-old man who police believe was intoxicated by drugs and alcohol is behind bars for an early morning double stabbing in Baltimore County.
    Ricardo Terrell Saunders Jr. faces charges of attempted second-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault, and two counts of second-degree assault.

    Responding officers found that a train had collided with an SUV.
