    Orioles Beat Rays 7-1 Behind Gausman, Machado
    BALTIMORE (AP) — Manny Machado hit a three-run homer, Kevin Gausman pitched seven innings of two-hit ball and the Baltimore Orioles beat the Tampa Bay Rays 7-1 Sunday to avert a three-game sweep.
    Mark Trumbo also homered and Seth Smith had two RBIs for the Orioles, playing their final home game until July 14.
    Gausman (5-7) struck out nine and walked two in the finest of his 18 starts this season. The right-hander allowed only one runner past first base in lowering his ERA from 6.07 to 5.61

    TILGHMAN ISLAND, Md. (AP) — A 66-year-old man has suffered a severe hand injury after lighting off a possibly illegal firework that his neighbor had found.
    Maryland’s Fire Marshal’s Office said in a statement Sunday that a state police helicopter flew him to the Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore.
    The incident occurred about 10 p.m. Saturday on Tilghman Island, a community on the Chesapeake Bay.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Anne Arundel County police are searching for a critically missing man.
    Police say Albert Curtis Thompson, 51, is missing after officers responded to his residence in Pasadena, Maryland Friday.
    Detectives say Thompson is new to the area, has no known acquaintances, financial means or transportation.
    Anyone with any information on Thompson’s whereabouts is asked to call Anne Arundel County Police Department at 410-222-8610 or 911.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Maryland State Police arrested a suspect Sunday morning who crashed a stolen vehicle after attempting to flee from troopers.
    Just before 9 a.m., police attempted to pull over a white 1999 BMW 32i in Harford County for failing to stay in one lane.
    The driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued. Driving down I-95 South, the suspect lost control on Exit 74, hit a curb on MD-152 and came to a rest where police arrested the suspect.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Rapper Finese 2Tymes was arrested in Alabama early Sunday, a day after a shooting at one of his concerts in Little Rock left 28 people injured, the U.S. Marshal Service said.
    Ricky Hampton of Memphis, Tennessee, also known as Finese2Tymes, was arrested early Sunday, according to an inmate roster at an Alabama jail. The U.S. Marshal Service said Hampton and another man were arrested at the Side Effects Club in Birmingham, where he was performing.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– City police arrested a man with a loaded handgun after people in the community alerted officers.
    Wednesday, officers were investigating recent violence in Southeast Baltimore and arrested Eric Gasque, 31, for having a loaded handgun and a knife.Gasque attempted to flee from police, but was later arrested in the 2500 block of Jefferson Street.
    Gasque is prohbited from legally possessing a firearm.
    Gasque was taken to Central Booking.
