    JESSUP, Md. (WJZ) — Police seized 90 pounds of heroin, worth more than $9 million dollars in a massive drug bust in Maryland.Baltimore area drug enforcement agents discovered the heroin after pulling over a car on Interstate 95 yesterday in Jessup.
    Investigators had been following a 53-year-old man for suspected drug activity. That man, along with two others involved in the drug transaction, were arrested.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– City police arrested and charged a 15 year old for the attempted murder of a 20-year-old man after arresting the first suspect about two weeks ago.
    Officers arrested Tay’Zion Taylor, 15, Thursday for an attempted murder that occurred on May 18.
    Police arrested Antonio Whittington, 17, on May 20 and also charged him with first-degree murder.
    Taylor has been charged as an adult.

    BALTIMORE (AP) — A corrections officer has been charged with sexually assaulting an inmate at central booking in Baltimore.
    The Baltimore State’s Attorney’s Office announced in a statement Friday that Cpl. Ambrose Obinna-Warrior was indicted earlier this week. He’s charged with misconduct in office, assault and multiple sex offenses.
    Prosecutors say the alleged abuse occurred on three occasions in November 2016, but didn’t immediately provide further details.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Maryland State Troopers are searching for suspects who robbed a woman on I-95 early Thursday morning after she was struck by the vehicle the suspects were in.
    Around 4 a.m., troopers say a dark-colored vehicle struck the victim’s vehicle on I-95 at the I-195 interchange in Baltimore County, when she pulled over to the side of the road and the suspects emerged from the vehicle with guns and took the woman’s bag and assaulted her.

    MANILA, Philippines (AP) — Metropolitan Manila police chief Oscar Albayalde says 36 people suffocated from smoke after a gunman stormed into a casino-hotel complex and set fire to gambling tables before fleeing with a bag of casino chips.
