  ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has a new gig for Memorial Day weekend.
  The Republican governor will serve as honorary starter and wave the green flag Sunday at the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina.

  BALTIMORE (WJZ) — According to a new report by the Royal Society for Public Health, Instagram is the worst social media app for young people’s mental health.

  BALTIMORE (WJZ) — MDTA Police say one person has been arrested after a vehicle broke through a perimeter gate at BWI Airport.
  MDTA Spokesman Kevin Ayd says it happened around 1:30 p.m. when a vehicle broke through the perimeter gate at the Signature Flight Support into the airport.

  SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Music legend Gregg Allman, whose bluesy vocals and soulful touch on the Hammond B-3 organ helped propel the Allman Brothers Band to superstardom and spawn Southern rock, died Saturday, a publicist said. He was 69.
