    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore Police say on May 17, a 26-year-old man from Florida raped a 16-year-old girl while giving her and another teen a ride home from Lexington Market.
    Police say Darius Curry from Pompano, Fl. offered the two teens a ride, and they got into his car.
    Once the friend was dropped off and Curry and 16-year-old were en route to her home, Curry allegedly pulled the car over and climbed into the front passenger seat where the victim was seated and overpowered her.

    Baltimore Police Recover Drugs & Handgun In Raid; Repeat Offender Arrested
    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– City police recovered a gun, money, ammo, and drugs during a raid Thursday.
    Police executed a search and seizure warrant in the 4900 block of Chalgrove Avenue where they arrested 30-year-old Joseph Harbin.
    Officers seized a semi-automatic handgun, money, ammunition, drug packaging material and a Ziploc bag with suspected cocaine.

    Tomorrow will be the last of our current 90-degree days here in may, as a cool front with some showers and more thunderstorms will cross the area, and drop our temperatures dramatically for the weekend.

  • Harvard Student Submits Rap Album As His Senior Thesis

    BOSTON (AP) — While other Harvard University students were writing papers for their senior theses, Obasi Shaw was busy rapping his.
    Shaw is the first student in Harvard’s history to submit a rap album as a senior thesis in the English Department, the university said. The album, called “Liminal Minds,” has earned the equivalent of an A-minus grade, good enough to guarantee that Shaw will graduate with honors next week.
