    WASHINGTON (AP) — Authorities say a 48-year-old Washington, D.C.-man has been sentenced to more than 21 years in prison for sexually abusing his daughter.
    Prosecutors have not identified the man in order to protect the privacy of his daughter. U.S. Attorney Channing D. Phillip’s office says the man was sentenced Friday to 21 ½ years in prison.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)- City police have arrested a 34-year-old man connected to the murder of a 53-year-old man.
    Officers arrested Brandon Harris for the murder of Vincent Curtis, a popular Baltimore DJ, according to police.
    At about 4 a.m. Friday, detectives responded to the 1200 block of Bloomfield Avenue, where they found Curtis suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest.
    Curtis was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

     BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore City Public Schools announced a new budget for the 2017-2018 school year budget and it may include the end of  up to 300 staff positions.
