    BALTIMORE (WJZ) —A widespread medical emergency, like a killer flu pandemic or a bio-weapon attack, will need a quick, widespread response.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Baltimore Orioles center fielder Adam Jones and pitcher Kevin Gausman have been ejected from Wednesday night’s baseball game versus the Boston Red Sox.
    Jones was ejected in the top fifth after arguing with an umpire if a pitch was a ball or strike and Gausman was ejected earlier in the game after striking Xander Bogart with a pitch.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– The FBI is now investigating a racial incident at American University.
    Someone placed bananas on nooses around campus, and wrote “AKA” on at least one of them, an apparent reference to Alpha Kappa Alpha, an African American sorority.
    The incident happened the same day AKA member Taylor Dumpson became the school’s first black student government president.
    Dumpson, who is from Maryland, called the incident “heinous” and “bigoted.”
