    Police Make Arrest In Baltimore Double Shooting
    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Baltimore Police Department has arrested a 20-year-old man accused of a double shooting earlier this month.
    Juwan Wheatley faces charges of first-degree attempted murder for a double shooting that happened on April 11.
    Police say the shooting occurred in the 2000 block of Linden Ave.
    No further details were released about the shooting, but police identified Wheatley as a suspect in the case, and were able to arrest him on Tuesday.

    FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — A North Carolina prosecutor says an Army veteran and her boyfriend, who’s also a soldier, can be heard laughing as they filmed themselves fatally shooting her service dog.

    ST. ALBANS, Vt. (AP) — Vermont police have arrested a man who acknowledged growing marijuana to prepare for possible statewide legalization of the drug.
    St. Albans police say they came across Michael Marshall while investigating a hunting violation.     BALTIMORE (WJZ) – An appeals court will hear arguments in the case of the Baltimore County man who was the focus of the popular podcast “Serial”.
    On Tuesday, Justin Brown, an attorney for Adnan Syed tweeted that arguments for the trial will take place on June 1, 2017.
    Syed was convicted back in 2000 for the killing of his ex-girlfriend and Woodlawn high school classmate Hae Min Lee. He was sentenced to life in prison.
