    FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — A general with the Army Reserve has died after collapsing during physical fitness training at Fort Bragg.
    The U.S. Army Reserve Command said Maj. Gen. Francisco A. Espaillat, 56, of New York City, was rushed to an Army hospital on Friday and pronounced dead, according to The Fayetteville Observer (http://bit.ly/2ommxef).

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Authorities are searching for the driver and SUV involved in a fatal hit and run auto-pedestrian crash early Sunday morning.
    The crash happened just before 1:30 a.m., on the ramp from the northbound Jones Falls Expressway to the outer loop of I-695.

    Police: Gunman Had Just Been Fired From Fitness Center
    CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — The Miami-Dade Police Department said Sunday that the gunman who opened fire at a Florida gym was an employee at the fitness center who had just been terminated.
    The department issued a statement identifying the shooter as 33-year-old Abeku Wilson of Miami, who was fired from the gym Saturday “due to work place violence and was escorted off the premises.”

    WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. police say they have arrested the former boyfriend of a woman who disappeared eight years ago.
    Authorities say Jose Angel Rodriguez-Cruz was arrested Friday and charged with killing 47-year-old Pamela Butler.
