  NEW YORK (AP) — Sindarius Thornwell scored 26 points and South Carolina earned its first trip to the Final Four with a 77-70 victory over Florida on Sunday.

  The Baltimore Fire Department reports the fire occurred in the 2700 block of W. North Ave.

  MARTINSBURG, W.Va. (AP) — A Maryland woman has been found guilty in a drunken driving accident in West Virginia that killed two women.
  Media outlets report a Berkeley County jury on Friday convicted 34-year-old Clairesse S. Felipe of Columbia, Maryland, of multiple counts, including DUI resulting in death and leaving the scene of an accident.

  The animals are headed for shelters in New York, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

  Police were called at 3:10 a.m. on Sunday, about a shooting at the intersection of Reisterstown Rd. and Tioga Parkway.
